Learning outcomes
Students' achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as: to know the theoretical foundations, features of land offenses and legal liability for their commission, including basic concepts and doctrinal approaches to their understanding; as well as signs, types and special characteristics of land offenses in the sphere of administrative, criminal, civil and other types of liability for violations of land legislation. Be able to correctly classify land offenses and the type of legal liability for their commission, to understand the legal requirements and law enforcement practice, including case law in this area. To have a working knowledge of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the institute of legal responsibility for land offenses, and correctly express one’s own assessment of illegal behavior in the sphere of land relations, properly justifying one’s own position.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
It is mandatory to know the theoretical and legislative foundations of legal liability for land offenses, the system of public authorities and local self-government, public participation in ensuring access to information and justice. Be able to interpret legal norms, apply methods of overcoming conflicts between legal norms, distinguish between types of land offenses and qualify legal acts. Have the skills to work with current legislation, legal literature, and information systems to search for materials of judicial and other law enforcement practice, as well as have the skills to analyze these materials.
Course content
Theoretical, legislative and practical aspects of land offenses as grounds for bringing to justice under land legislation, their types, features of land offenses in the sphere of administrative, criminal, civil and other types of legal liability, functions and powers of public authorities and local governments in the sphere of legal liability for land offenses.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
When mastering the academic discipline, preference is given to the application of theoretical knowledge obtained in lectures to solve practical cases and simulated situations. For this purpose the methods of analysis and synthesis, deduction are used, which allow to analyze the circumstances of the case proposed, to evaluate in terms of the model of legal behavior enshrined in law, carry out legal qualification of the act and possible legal liability.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of continuous assessment are selected by the instructor who conducts practical classes in accordance with the training program. The instructor, who conducts practical classes, sets the number of grades scored from the continuous assessment and enters them in the relevant documents of student performance. If a student is absent from a practical lesson for good reasons, he/she may make up the missed class in extra-curricular classes within 7 days after the missed class during during the teacher's consultation hours. Academic detention is carried out by oral examination or by performing another type of task set by the instructor. Grades are not awarded for missed classes. At the end of the semester, student’s missed classes are not made up.
