Know: Specific features and peculiarities of managing a geological enterprise; features of planning and designing geological exploration works; features of the organization and functioning of geological services around the world. Be able to: Operate in accordance with the provisions of the legislative framework in the field of subsoil use; organize and conduct geological exploration work, prepare projects and estimate documentation; formulate the strategy and tactics of managing a geological enterprise and managing risks.

Successful mastery of theoretical foundations of the structure and development of the Earth and its geospheres, phenomena and processes occurring in them. Basic knowledge of natural sciences, mathematics and information technologies, in particular, the geology of mineral deposits, geological exploration, and the basics of economic geology.

The discipline belongs to the electives of the bachelor's professional training cycle. It is a modern discipline in the field of geology and subsoil use management in accordance with the standard of training for a bachelor of Earth Sciences with elements of the standard of training for a bachelor in the specialty "Management". It ensures mastery of international standards of geological study of subsoil and subsoil use management, and provides an opportunity for employment in geological companies.

Control is carried out according to the modular rating system and involves: completing tasks of independent, seminar and practical work (where students must demonstrate the quality of the acquired knowledge and solve the tasks set, using the methods and means outlined by the teacher) and conducting written modular control works. The final assessment is carried out in the form of an exam (test).
