Learning outcomes
To familiarize students with the issues of political systems in the modern world, the peculiarities and key problems of their functioning in Europe and Asia, to expand and consolidate knowledge about the types of political systems, to develop students' competencies that will allow them to implement a comprehensive approach to the study of patterns and peculiarities of political development and functioning of political systems in the world and to understand global and regional trends in world development.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before studying this course, students should: have knowledge of: the basics of history and theory of political science, the essence of the political system and the main types of political systems, be able to: collect and analyze information about events, processes and phenomena of political life of society, have basic skills in using information sources.
Scientific research and information management; critical attitude to social and political events and phenomena.
