Learning outcomes
To form a system of competencies that will allow students to lead and manage the public administration system in a conflict and crisis environment, to counteract conflict situations, minimize losses in the event of conflict, and manage conflict to achieve political and socio-economic goals in the process of public policy development.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student should know: basic concepts and categories of political conflictology, basic theories of social conflict, features and dynamics of political conflict, basic mechanisms of interpersonal conflict management, including in politics. The student must be able to: collect and interpret information on political phenomena, socio-political processes and events in the public policy system; analyze and predict further conflict dynamics in public administration. The student should have: basic skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting of political, socio-economic, cultural processes and phenomena.
Course content
Political conflict as a social phenomenon. Conflict theory in solving public policy problems. Classification of conflicts. Mechanisms and dynamics of conflicts. The process of conflict management in public policy. Information and communication support of conflicts. Information and analytical activities and conflict forecasting. Crises in the public policy system. Conflicts in the development of public policy programs.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1-1.2), which is 40% of the total grade and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3); (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2), which is 60% of the total grade.
