Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prior to studying the discipline “Social Principles in Politics and Interest Groups in Politics”, students should have generalized knowledge of the social component of public policy in Ukraine and the world in general, the main models of social policy implementation in political science and related fields of knowledge; the functioning of interest groups in politics, the main approaches to defining interest groups in the socio-economic and political dimensions.
Be able to collect and interpret information on aspects of social policy, socio-economic and political processes in events; apply basic concepts, categories of paradigms and theories to analyze political processes and phenomena; work with legal acts to understand the legal conditions for the functioning of interest groups in Ukraine and the world.
Possess basic skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting of political, socio-economic, cultural processes and phenomena.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1-1.3), which is 40% of the total grade and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3); (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2), which is 60% of the total grade.
