Understand the subject area, ethical and legal principles of professional activity Have professional communication skills. Be able to use information and communication technologies in professional activities. Ability to analyze public policy at the local, national, European and global levels. Be able to analyze the interaction of political actors and institutions, power and governance, political systems and regimes, political behavior in different contexts of their functioning.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before studying the discipline, students should know the main stages of the history of foreign political doctrines and the history of political thought in Ukraine, the structure and functions of the political system of society, its main institutions, the laws of functioning of the system as a whole and its institutions. Be able to collect and interpret information on the interaction of the state and civil society. Apply the conceptual and categorical framework of political science in the analysis of political phenomena and processes; identify trends in modern domestic and foreign political life; predict the prospects for the development of world political processes. Possess basic skills of working with historical sources and scientific works; critical attitude and forecasting of political phenomena and processes; use of foreign language professional sources of political science.
Course content
1. Historical development of interaction between civil society and the state. 2. Civil society as a basis for building a democratic state. 4. The system of information involvement of the public in the management of public affairs. 5. The system of legal involvement of the public in the management of public affairs. 6. Public monitoring of the activities of public authorities. 7. Trends, challenges and prospects for the development of effective interaction between civil society and the state in Ukraine. 8. Fundamentals of Ukrainian legislation in the information sphere. 9. Central bodies of state power of Ukraine in the field of information. 10. Current state of the information space of Ukraine: mass media. 11. State information policy in the context of Ukraine's integration into the European and world information space. 12. Sources of threats to information security of Ukraine. 13. Real and potential threats to information security of Ukraine. 14. Forms of information confrontation.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.4.), which is 40% of the total grade and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3; (communication - 3.1-3.2); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2), which is 60% of the total grade.
