1.Understand the subject area of ethical and legal principles of professional activity. 2. Be able to analyze public policy at the local, national, European and global levels. 3. Apply theories and methods of applied political science, political communications, special political science disciplines in professional activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Students should know the general theory of the realization of state and political power at the regional, local and municipal levels; basic models of local government and self-government in the world. 2. Apply basic concepts, paradigm categories and theories to analyze socio-economic and political phenomena and processes at the municipal, local and national levels; identify current challenges, threats and trends in the development and further evolution of the governance system at the level of municipal units. 3. Possess basic skills of scientific research and information management; critical thinking and analytical skills for forecasting political, socio-economic, cultural and spiritual processes and phenomena; skills and abilities to process foreign language professional sources.

1. The essence and general characteristics of the municipal management system. 2. Financial management as management of financial resources of a municipality. 3. Marketing tools in the system of municipal management. 4. Project management in municipal management. 5. Management of municipal logistics systems. 6. Crisis management in municipal management. 7. Information and analytical tools in the municipal management system. 8. Situational municipal management. 9. Personnel policy in the system of municipal management. 10. Vertical and horizontal interactions of municipal governments.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1-1.3), which is 40% of the total grade and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3); (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2), which is 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral report - 33-45 points; 2. Supplement / participation in the discussion - 5-15 points; 3. Independent work: (summary of primary sources) - 5-10 points; 4. Independent work - 5-10 points.
