Learning outcomes
ELO1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in Ukrainian orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. ELO2. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. ELO4. Understand the fundamental principles of human existence, nature, society. PLO14. To use the Ukrainian language in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, informal, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know: traditions, doctrines, theories, concepts, approaches to understanding the biopsychosocial nature of man; basic categories of general biology, human anatomy, the role of language in human development. 2. To be able to: think skillfully, apply intellectual speech practices in professional activities, study the phenomena of life, applying the theory and methods of comparative studies; 3. Possess basic skills: to cultural reflection, to quickly learn new theories, concepts, research methods that are born on the verge of various humanities, in particular, in the field of personality psychology; use of modern information and technical means to solve problems of professional activity; in particular, to obtain scientific and bibliographic information.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to ensure that students develop systematic knowledge in the field of personality and communication psychology, as well as cognitive, emotional and volitional processes, which will serve as a psychological basis for the formation of their comprehensive competencies in the qualification of “teacher of Russian as a foreign language”. The course pays special attention to the practical development of self-diagnostic skills in the course of studying the peculiarities of one's own mental processes and states and the development of recommendations for their optimization. The course program reveals the innovative experience of applying the scientific achievements of psychologists-predecessors in the practice of working with psychological phenomenology.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical classes, independent work. Teaching methods: problem-based teaching, partial search, theoretical and practical, consciously practical teaching methods. Illustrative methods. Independent work with scientific and reference literature.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answers, essays, case studies, and module tests. Specific assessment criteria are provided in the course syllabus.
