Learning outcomes
Students acquire competencies in assessing the engineering and geological conditions of the construction area, studying the stress state from the soil's own weight and additional load, methods of calculating deformations and bearing capacity taking into account rheological processes in the soil base to ensure the optimal design solution for the construction of buildings and structures
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Have basic knowledge of geology, mineralogy, lithology, engineering geology, regional engineering geology, soil science, soil mechanics
Course content
Рreparing students for a qualified study of the operational reliability of buildings and structures, as well as for understanding the essence of the processes and phenomena that occur during the interaction of buildings and structures with soil foundations for choosing the optimal design solution by modeling the situation and performing predictive calculations
