PLO 9. To characterize theoretical (concepts, categories, principles, basic concepts, etc.) principles and practical aspects of a Ukrainian language and literature. PLO 13. To explain the essence of specific linguistic issues and one’s own point of view and its justification to the experts and laypeople in an accessible and argumentative manner, in particular to individuals who are studying. PLO 20 b. Translate (oral and written) texts of various genres and styles from the Ukrainian language into the native language and vice versa (according to the selective block "Practical translation for those who study Ukrainian as a foreign language").

Full-time form

Proficiency in the Ukrainian language at a level sufficient for listening to lectures and creating one's own teaching and methodical materials on the Ukrainian language for foreign students, successful mastery of the theoretical disciplines taught during the first year of the master's degree.

The purpose of the discipline is to prepare students for teaching vocabulary and grammar of the Ukrainian language to foreign students. The subject of the educational discipline is the principles of vocabulary selection and lexical minimums, stages of learning vocabulary, methods of semanticizing vocabulary, principles of selecting grammatical material, stages of working with grammatical material, exercises in grammatical direction, morphological and syntactic material in a practical course of the Ukrainian language for foreigners.

Lectures, seminar classes. Explanatory and illustrative method, work with educational literature, discussion, project work.

Oral answers in practical classes, written (project) assignments, modular control work, exam.
