PRN01. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the study of natural-territorial systems at different levels of spatial organization. PRN05. Be able to identify, pose and solve scientific and applied problems, carry out a critical assessment of the decisions made. PRN10. Apply geo-information technologies, create and research models of natural-geographic manifestations of the development of geosystems, determine the possibilities and limits of their application. PRN11. Assess possible risks, socio-economic and geoecological consequences of the implementation of management decisions in the field of nature management, recreation and tourism. PRN14. Formulate scientific hypotheses, determine relevant aspects in fundamental and applied areas of research, develop and manage projects in the field of geography, in particular. PRN17. The ability to apply knowledge of the laws of the functioning of the geomorphosphere to solve applied problems.

Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastering of such general educational disciplines as Relief of the World, Paleoecology of the Quaternary period, Anthropogenic geomorphology. 2) possession of elementary skills of analysis of cartographic materials.
Course content
The discipline "Evolutionary Geomorphology" examines the role of classifications in science in general and specifically in geomorphology. In particular, the size-genetic classification of Earth's relief forms and the possibility of its use in the selection of taxa for geomorphological zoning and mapping are analyzed using the example of Europe and Ukraine. Scientific discoveries and the new social paradigm of humanity give impetus to the development of the theory of geomorphology and determine trends. With this in mind, some of its axioms (for example, the central dynamic problem) are currently being revised. The new social paradigm affects Earth sciences in the direction of reproducing the natural evolution and history of the planet and humanity on it (the idea of nomogenesis). Historical-geological and historical-geomorphological (paleogeomorphological) studies are becoming relevant and important today. All this is noted during seminars and during the presentation of lecture material, which is devoted to the consideration of traditional aspects of "relief" - its morphology, genesis, geological age, modern and historical dynamics, relief-forming substrate. When characterizing the areas of practical use of the study of relief and geological structure, the concept of "end-to-end forecasting" is considered, which allows you to search for minerals, implement rational nature management, manage the use of natural resources, and territorial planning.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical classes, independent work
Assessment methods and criteria
Surveys in test and written form, evaluation of the performance of practical work, enrollment of independent work, MKR exam, consultations. The maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to the semester ones is 24 points. Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to take the exam. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points. For students who scored a total of less points than the recommended minimum (36 points), it is mandatory to resubmit those types of work for which they received a grade lower than the permissible minimum.
