PR1. Utilize the fundamental principles of finance, banking, and insurance in conjunction with research and management tools for professional and scientific activities. PR4. Seek, process, systematize, and analyze information necessary for solving professional and scientific tasks in the field of finance, banking, and insurance. PR15. Identify vectors of innovative development in the financial services market and directions and features of applying innovative financial platforms.PR16. Apply interdisciplinary and specific research methods aimed at understanding applied aspects in behavioral finance.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Basic knowledge in the field of finance according to the "Entrance Examination Program for the educational-professional program 'Financial Institutions and Risk Management.'" Proficiency in elementary skills of mathematical modeling, forecasting, methods of economic analysis, and working in Excel.
Course content
This course is dedicated to the study of theoretical and practical principles of financial institutions' functioning in the money market and capital market of the country's economy. Students should acquire an understanding of modern methods for studying financial markets and institutions, as well as the development of strategies for financial institutions used in international and domestic practices. The course is structured based on contemporary Western and domestic financial literature.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The aim of the discipline is to systematically develop in future professionals a knowledge base of the fundamental principles of theory and practice in the functioning of financial institutions and markets. It aims to prepare master's degree students who will have a strong command of methods for studying and forecasting the trends in the money market and capital market.
