            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            To know the basic concepts of pedagogical, developmental and social psychology, psychological patterns of development and professional formation of personality.
To be able to select and analyze scientific and methodical literature on the discipline, to analyze teaching methods in a higher school, to prepare presentations, and to analyze psychological and pedagogical phenomena, that can arise during educational process, and to interpret the results of self-diagnosis.
To possess basic skills in staging and solving practical tasks, public speaking, creative thinking, time management, group work organizations
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The theoretical and methodological bases of psychology of higher education as science and its conceptual-categorical apparatus are revealed. Also student features as a subject of educational and professional activity are defined, as well as psychological aspects of the teacher's activity, psychological bases of the development of the teacher's professionalism; psychological patterns of pedagogical interaction between teacher and student, features of the development of the student group. The content of the course allows students to practice teaching techniques in higher education and to study motivation and individual psychological characteristics of the student.

            Spoken replies (presentation in class, participation in the discussion, additional answers): РН1.1-1.4, РН2.1-2.4, РН3.1, РН4.1 – 20/10 points.
Independent work (essay, presentation): РН1.1-1.4, РН2.1-2.4, РН3.1, РН4.1 – 30/20 points.
Modular work 1: РН1.1-1.4, РН2.1-2.4, РН3.1, РН4.1 – 25/15 points.

The final score from the course (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the amount of credits for semester work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and a final control test (at least 15, a maximum of 25 credits). The end of the term test is counted on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not involve additional evaluation measures
