1. Possess basic skills in the school course of computer science, finding the necessary information to study the discipline. 2. Be able to use modern intelligent mobile devices, Internet-level user tools.
Course content
The discipline "Modern information technologies in economics" introduces higher education students to the digital transformation of technologies and basic principles the use of information systems in the management of organization and business, in particular, to automate the processing of information in the digital economy and the possibility of using information and communication technologies to solve professional-oriented problems. Much attention is paid to the features and benefits of working with computer networks, methods of effective information retrieval on the Internet, methods of using services provided by computer networks. The issues of application of methods and principles of text and tabular information processing, technologies of distributed information processing in databases are considered.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment 60 points maximum / 36 points minimum: 1. Laboratory work (12 works involving the performance of practical tasks by the student and the implementation and protection of individual (homework)): PH2.1, PH2.2, PH2.3, PH2.4, PH3.1, PH4.1. - 50 points / 30 points. 2. Two tests (topics 1-7 and 8-13) - 5 points / 3 points each; Final assessment in the form of an exam: maximum score of 40 points, boundary score - 24 points. The exam is in writing, consists of theoretical answers, tests, calculation tasks.
