PLO3. Use analytical and methodological tools to understand the logic of economic decision-making by various economic agents, individuals, households, enterprises and public authorities) PLO5. Explain the models of socio-economic phenomena, guided by the fundamental principles and knowledge of the main directions of economic science PLO6. Apply appropriate economic-mathematical and statistical methods and models to solve economic problems PLO22. Demonstrate the ability to think abstractly, apply analysis and synthesis to identify key characteristics of socio-economic systems of different levels, as well as the behavior of their subjects
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: Basic theorems and methods in mathematical disciplines of algebra and geometry, which are studied in secondary schools: properties and graphs of the simplest elementary functions, trigonometric formulas, the concept of derivative and integral, basic concepts of planimetry and stereometry. 2. To possess: methods of solving systems of algebraic systems of equations on inequalities, construction of graphs of functions; solving geometric problems; skills of differentiation and integration of functions, application of derivatives to the study of functions; skills to work independently with scientific and scientific-methodical mathematical literature.
Course content
The curriculum consists of 2 content modules: Content module 1. "Fundamentals of linear, vector algebra and analytical geometry", which discusses the fundamental concepts of linear and vector algebra, analytical geometry: matrices, determinants, systems of linear equations, vectors, scalar product, vector product, mixed product, equation and equation and placement of lines and planes in space. Content module 2. "Fundamentals of mathematical analysis", which considers the following fundamental concepts: the limit and continuity of the function of one variable; derivative, differential, their properties and rules of differentiation; application of derivatives to research functions; primitive, indefinite, definite and improper integrals.
