Learning outcomes
Generalization and systematization of master's students' knowledge and practical skills in conducting scientific research, substantiation of its relevance, the ability to choose approaches to problem solving, organization of research and design of the obtained results, taking into account the knowledge and skills acquired during education. In the process of course work, master's students consolidate the skills and abilities of using scientific, normative and reference literature, learn to analyze existing approaches, methods, methods of solving the main problems of the selected scientific issues, formalize the obtained results in the form of a finished work according to the given structure and content, which meet the requirements for writing a term paper.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know theoretical and practical material in the specialty "Computer Science"; to be able to conduct research in the field of information technologies; to have the skills of programming, modeling, application of information technologies to solve practical problems.
Course content
Analysis of literary scientific sources, relevant research, ideas, principles, models, methods and tools, determination of their features, advantages and disadvantages. Construction of mathematical models of objects and systems characterized by the presence of both quantitative and qualitative characteristics; improvement and application of artificial intelligence methods for solving practical problems; conducting experimental verification of existing and developed models and methods; modeling problem environments using relevant knowledge models; structural and parametric synthesis of neural network and fuzzy models; evolutionary optimization of constructed models; development of systems of computer linguistics, computer vision, as well as decision support systems and expert systems. Development or modification of a method, algorithm for solving the given problem; conducting an experiment and analyzing the obtained results for their accuracy and reliability.
