Learning outcomes
Have specialized computer science problem-solving skills necessary for conducting research and/or conducting innovative activities to develop new knowledge and procedures. Develop mathematical models and methods of data analysis. Identify and eliminate problematic situations during software operation, formulate tasks for its modification or reengineering. To analyze the current state and global trends in the development of computer sciences and information technologies.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Understanding the essence and main processes of IT project management, as well as the basics of project structuring, components of methodologies, models, methods and means of IT project management, project management methodologies, management tools of fields of knowledge in project management, fields of knowledge of project management, planning models and methods , implementation and monitoring of projects, practical assimilation of the subject and methods of systems theory and system analysis, project as a concept of a system, practical implementation of methods of system analysis. 2. Be able to develop IT projects and implement them in practice based on new technologies, monitor projects using modern methods and tools, use typical project management schemes using modern methods; apply project management methodologies, methods and tools in practice; evaluate methods and computer support systems for making management decisions and apply them in practice.
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the issues of creating a management decision-making system in IT projects based on a system analysis of project activities, the composition of project documentation on IT project management, defined management processes and project management methodology. Within the scope of the discipline, the stages and processes of the formation of managerial decisions, principles and stages of the decision-making process in IT projects, types of decisions in project management and decision-making models in projects are considered.

Assessment methods and criteria
Each of the three laboratory works, as well as practical work, is evaluated up to 20 points. A modular test is conducted in the form of a final computer test with a final score of up to 20 points.
