Learning outcomes
Develop and apply mathematical methods for the analysis of information models. Develop mathematical models and data analysis methods. Identify the needs of potential customers regarding the automation of information processing.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) understanding the essence and main processes of developing the project concept, as well as the basics of project activity initiation; 2) knowledge of the concept of "project", its goals, objectives, characteristics; concepts of "project result" and "project product", "project concept", processes of forming the project passport, project justification, determination of project viability conditions; 3) possession of basic skills of finding the necessary information for work in the project team, using methods of analysis and development of components of the IT project concept.
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the study of basic models and methods of IT project management: models for determining the content and construction of the main hierarchical structure of IT project works, determining the list of works and their parameters and calculating the IT project work schedule and calculating the project calendar on this basis. Within the scope of the discipline, the processes of forming the main project models and modeling methods are considered. Namely: calculation of the hierarchical structure of project work and decomposition methods, project work model and network modeling methods, methods of calculating work schedules over time, resource model, methods of resolving resource conflicts, methods of project budget calculation, methods of monitoring and determining deviations in terms of time and cost of the project etc.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical activities, laboratory, individual work
Assessment methods and criteria
Defense of laboratory works takes place in the next lesson of the corresponding type, according to the schedule. Each of the practical and laboratory works is evaluated up to 10 points. Accordingly, the maximum score for practical work cannot exceed 10 points, and for a complex of laboratory works from 4 works - 40 points. PMKR is evaluated up to 10 points.
