Learning outcomes
Knowledge: theoretical foundations of linear, vector algebra and analytical geometry, differential and integral calculus of functions of one and many independent variables; ordinary differential equations; numerical and functional series. Ability: perform operations on matrices, check for compatibility and solve systems of linear algebraic equations, find eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a linear operator, perform operations on vectors, compose different types of equations of a line and a plane, investigate the shape of a curve and surface of the 2nd order according to its equation, construct the specified lines and surfaces in the coordinate system, determine their relative location; to find the limit and derivative of a function, to investigate the analytical behavior of a function of one and many variables using the methods of differential calculus; integrate the function of one and many variables, apply integral calculus to solving applied problems.

Course content
The program of the discipline "Mathematical foundations in information and cyber security" covers the main sections of linear, vector algebra and analytical geometry, mathematical analysis, in particular differential and integral calculus of functions of one and many independent variables, differential equations and series. The goal of studying the discipline is the formation of students' basic mathematical knowledge and competencies for solving problems in professional activities, analytical thinking skills and mathematical formulation of applied problems.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical activities, individual work
Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of the planned learning outcomes is defined as the total grade for the student's work in the semester and the result of the final control in the form of a written exam. The condition for receiving a positive final grade for a discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points - 60 points out of 100. The student is allowed to take the exam on the condition that he completes the 20 practical assignments provided by the plan and two modular control assignments, which in the end must be at least the recommended minimum of 36 points (60% of the maximum possible number of points that
