Learning outcomes
Know about the influence of geological conditions, groundwater, geochemical and geophysical background on human health; about the recreational and medicinal properties of the components of the geological environment (rocks, soils, groundwater, geophysical fields) and the means and possibilities of their use in Ukraine; teach how to assess risks from hydrogeological objects for average indicators of public health

Have basic knowledge of chemical analysis of water, hydrogeochemistry and mineral waters
Course content
Students gain knowledge about the influence of chemical and physical factors of the geological environment, including the composition of groundwater, on human and animal health, as well as practical skills in assessing the risks of chemical water pollution on public health

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical classes, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
Control involves practical training and 2 written tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written test. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to take the final grade if he / she scored less than 40 points during the semester. During the semester the student can score from 48 to 80 points. During the test the student can get from 12 to 20 points
