Learning outcomes
To know the classification of mineral waters, characteristics of the conditions of formation and distribution of certain types of medicinal and therapeutic mineral waters in Ukraine, features of formation and distribution of thermal and industrial waters, conditions of accumulation of mineral water deposits, factors and preconditions of depletion of underground mineral waters and conditions of their protection from pollution. To be able to map the distribution of mineral waters by mineralization, macro-component composition and content of specific components

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To have basic knowledge of regional hydrogeology and geology, hydrogeochemistry and chemical analysis of water
Course content
Students will learn about the classification and characteristics of the formation of mineral waters; accumulation and distribution of mineral water deposits; pollution, depletion and protection of mineral water deposits; learn to map mineral water deposits

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical classes, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
The control involves the performance of tasks in the practical classes and 3 written tests. The final assessment is carried out in the form of a written oral exam. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to the final assessment, if during the semester collected less than 20 points. During a semester, a student can score from 36 to 60 points. During the exam a student can get from 24 to 40 points
