Course content
There is an acquaintance with the theoretical and methodological foundations of environmental risk assessment, knowledge is provided about the main sources and factors of environmental hazard and risk. Criteria characterizing the risks of critical states for the environment are considered. Various approaches to environmental risk assessment by the nature of threats are analyzed and the mechanisms and general strategy for managing environmental hazard and risk are characterized.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control involves the implementation of practical work and 2 written tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written and oral exam. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to take the final grade if he/she scored less than 20 points during the semester. During the semester the student can score from 36 to 60 points. During the exam the student can get from 24 to 40 points
