Course content
The normative discipline "Astronomy and space physics" is a component of the cycle of professional training of specialists of the educational and qualification level "bachelor" OP "Natural sciences. Integrated program" and is included in the main block for students of specialization "014.15 Secondary education (natural sciences)". As part of the course, students study the processes occurring in various regions of the universe and in near-Earth space. At the same time, a large volume of questions is covered, from the processes that form the structure and parameters of the universe (various astronomical objects) to dynamic manifestations in the Earth's atmosphere. Emphasis is placed on the formation of ideas about the unity of physical laws operating both on Earth and in various astrophysical objects, and the presence of continuous evolution of our planet, all cosmic bodies and their systems, as well as the universe itself.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical work, independent work
Assessment methods and criteria
Survey, abstract Modular control work, exam. Control is carried out according to the modular rating system, which consists of 2 content modules. The knowledge assessment system includes current, module and semester knowledge control. The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. Forms of current control: assessment of written independent tasks, tests and control works. A student can get a maximum of 43 points for completing independent tasks, oral answers, tests, essays and additions during the lecture. Modular control: 2 modular control works. A student can get a maximum of 17 points for modular test papers. The final semester control is conducted in the form of an exam (40 points).
