Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Basic understanding of the principles of sustainable development, socio-economic geography and socio-economic geography of the world. 2) Possession of skills of critical thinking, comparative analysis, analysis, synthesis.
Course content
The essence of the concepts of the Anthropocene and planetary boundaries; sustainability, sustainability, balance; economic growth and current issues of balanced development; defines the principles of institutionalization, scientific and educational dimensions of sustainable development; defines the essence and elements of indicators of sustainable development indicators, its goals at the international level and in Ukraine; skills are formed conceptual analysis of sustainability and sustainable development goals. The following skills are developed poster presentation of the results of an individual research task.

Assessment methods and criteria
Thematic control papers. Final control works are conducted in writing in the form of tests and open questions and are designed to reveal the knowledge and skills acquired during mastering relevant topics. Students who received for a thematic test with less than the minimum number of points provided, rearrange it. - participation in discussions of current theoretical and applied problems of the global political geography; - preparation and submission of an analytical note on tasks set in advance; - presenting a presentation of individual/group research that concerns comprehensive disclosure of a certain task. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 36 points.
