            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            1. To be able to analyze the peculiarities of the development of the city in various directions, to develop, manage and manage projects, to evaluate and ensure the quality of works, to be able to carry out a comprehensive assessment and monitoring of resources, to forecast the development of spatial processes and phenomena;
2. Know the basic principles of organization and mechanisms of urban development, monitor the development of the city;
3. To know modern quantitative and qualitative methods of geographical analysis, to be able to apply it in production and research activities; to be able to model objects and processes, using modern quantitative and qualitative methods and geo-information technologies.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            It is proposed to reveal the essence of analytical activity in the system of monitoring, forecasting and planning of urban development; concept, methodology and implementation of the analysis of urban development, architectural and planning organization of the urban environment. The legislative and regulatory framework for analytical support has been disclosed of city development, the procedure, the order of development and use of analytical materials in the city development management system, the content and methodology of drawing up analytical notes.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            During the semester, thematic control works in the form of tests are conducted after the completion of consideration of the relevant topics. Students' acquisition of knowledge and skills is also assessed during presentations at seminars, surveys, and participation in discussions. For students who did not score the minimum number of points (20 points) during the semester, a final semester test is conducted with a maximum number of points - 40. Before the beginning of the examination session, students must complete all seminar classes. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam. The maximum number of points on the exam is 40, the minimum number of points added to semester marks is 24 points.
