            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            1. Acquired bachelor degree;
2. Knowledge of theoretical and applied fundamentals of social and economic geography, urban geography, regional development management, urban and regional planning, the concept of sustainable development;
3. Developed skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis of natural and social processes in the geographical shell, to design and manage projects in geographical and interdisciplinary direction, assess and ensure the quality of work, be able to comprehensively assess and monitor resources and territories, predict the development of geographical processes and phenomena;
4. Possession of skills in general scientific methods and specific socio-geographical methods of scientific knowledge acquisition, particularly in socio-geographical forecasting, modeling of objects and processes development using systematic structural approach.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The course includes 2 substantive parts. Content part 1 includes the reading of lectures, processing and assimilation of theoretical material. Content part 2
consists of field and chamber studies (practical works) within the framework of the development of specific urban development projects.

            Planned learning activities and teaching methods
        
        
            Lectures, practical works, independent work, participation in the project, presentation of independent works.
        
    
            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Assessment of all types of work is carried out throughout the semester, including independent work and performance of practical tasks. Final assessment takes place in the form of team defense of projects within the framework of the exam. Each student is responsible for his specific contribution to the project and for joint conclusions. The discipline ends with an exam. Completion of all practical tasks within the framework of project development is mandatory for admission to the exam.
