Learning outcomes
- Content, characteristics, basic concepts and categories, basic approaches to pedagogy and psychology of higher education in the context of the development of modern education
- Theoretically - practical foundations of the learning process, its regularities and principles, methods, means, content of education, documentary support
- Be able to implement the results of scientific research into educational practice,
to carry out educational work responsibly
- To know the methods of management of the institution of higher education, its staff
- Be able to independently collect, process and critically analyze, summarize information from various sources
- Skills in using information and communication technologies
- Ability to build interpersonal relationships, work in a group
- Autonomously and responsibly realize the limits of one's competence and adhere to the norms of professional ethics

1) awareness of the importance of purposeful training and personality education;
2) possession of elementary skills of formation of the main regulators of activity and behavior in the group.
Course content
In the discipline "Pedagogy and psychology of higher education", the main concepts and categories are revealed, the methods of psychological and pedagogical research, the components of didactics and education (their principles, methods, methods, types, means, directions of development, etc.), the scientific principles of management of educational institutions are analyzed. The formation of psychological-pedagogical thinking, the analysis of pedagogical reality, orientation towards the mastery of psychological-pedagogical abilities and skills is carried out. Considerable attention is paid to the styles and methods of teacher communication with students of higher education, the latest educational technologies, independent work, and the preparation of multimedia presentations. An important place is given to directing students to apply the acquired knowledge in professional situations.

Assessment methods and criteria
During classes, the following are assessed: oral response, presentation, performance of practical tasks, solutions to pedagogical tasks. KR1 is completed and evaluated after the completion of the first part "Higher School Pedagogy" (1-3), the second part "Higher School Psychology" (topics 1-3) and includes questions from the entire educational course. The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100.
