Learning outcomes
Apply their knowledge to identify and solve problematic issues and make informed decisions in meteorology (PLO-2) Be able to communicate with specialists and experts of different levels of other fields of knowledge, including in the international context, in the global information environment (PLO-3) Know the basic principles of management of enterprises in the field of environmental management, their organization, production and organizational management structure (PLO-8). Demonstrate the ability to adapt and act in a new situation related to work in the specialty, the ability to generate new ideas in the field of Earth sciences (PLO-10)

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastering of the disciplines of professional training; 2) knowledge of theoretical and applied principles of meteorology, aviation meteorology, synoptic meteorology, climatology; 3) knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Course content
Industrial practice is an integral part of the general educational process and serves as a logical completion of the educational cycle of the first year of study. During the internship, students acquire the skills of independent solution of current professional tasks in accordance with the profile of the organization in which the internship takes place; get acquainted with the work of various specialized institutions and organizations. The substantive part of the practice is working with various sources of meteorological information, its processing and interpretation, which may consist in making weather forecasts, building synoptic maps, processing big data arrays and modeling meteorological processes using modern technologies. During the internship, students must learn to analyze and summarize the collected data, develop the skills of independent problem solving in the field of meteorology. During the internship, students must strictly follow the rules of labor protection and fire safety. Each student receives individual tasks, which must be timely and efficiently performed and executed in accordance with the specified requirements.
