The discipline "Philosophy" is taught in the 7th semester of the bachelor's degree in preparation for the educational and professional program "Geomorphology and natural tourism" specialty 106 "Geography". The educational discipline "Philosophy" provides an opportunity to involve students in the worldview and methodological culture accumulated by mankind throughout the history of its existence, to show the integral, integrative nature of knowledge about the surrounding world, to emphasize the fundamental importance for each person of his free worldview self-determination, the choice of an active life position, creation good by strengthening the state and society through their own activities. Philosophy for future specialists in geography is a worldview and at the same time a methodological basis, on the basis of which the assimilation of humanitarian, general education, fundamental and applied disciplines takes place. To a large extent, it is precisely thanks to it that it becomes possible for students' consciousness to go beyond narrowly professional training, to focus on universal human values.
