Successful mastering of the disciplines of the educational program "Management and ecology of water resources" at the bachelor's level of education: "Hydrology of rivers", "Hydrology of lakes", "Hydrology of swamps, glaciers and groundwater", "Basics of meteorology", "Water balance calculations", "Basics of hydrochemistry" , "Topography with the basics of geodesy", "Soil science with the basics of soil geography", "Hydrometry".
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the study of general information about cities and their characteristic features; about the urban environment as an urbo-geo-sociosystem; about urbanization and its factors about the water environment of the city, water objects of the city and their use; studies the urboecological problems of modern cities, namely the impact of urbanization processes on the ecological state of the urban environment, the consequences of the impact of urbanization processes on the natural hydrological regime of water bodies of cities and their basins. Attention is paid to the legal aspects of managing the environmental safety of cities, the main legislative acts to ensure environmental safety in cities, and environmental monitoring of the urban environment.

Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, after the completion of the relevant topics, thematic written control papers with open questions are conducted. It is mandatory for the exam to write test papers according to content modules, to complete all practical works. For students who scored a total of less than the critical calculation minimum - 36 points, writing essays on insufficiently mastered topics is a mandatory condition for admission to the exam. Final evaluation in the form of an exam: the maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to the semester ones is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the exam). Students who, during the semester, scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to take the exam. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 36 points. Evaluation is carried out throughout the semester for all types of work, including independent work.
