Learning outcomes
The objectives of the discipline are to consolidate the conceptual and terminological apparatus of the subject-object area of the geography of global production systems; to form the skills of searching, processing and analyzing information about the features of the functioning of TNCs from various sources; to form an idea of the global production systems of the world economy, their industry and territorial structure, to understand and comprehend the worldview concepts that have influenced and influence the formation of transnationalization processes; to apply the acquired knowledge to solve practical situations, to be able to use information and communication technologies in the study of global production systems; to apply knowledge and understanding of the main characteristics and processes of transnationalization to analyze global and regional trends in economic development.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of the disciplines "Geography of the world economy", "Human geography", "Economic geography", "Mathematical and statistical methods in geography", "Geography of the countries of the Global South", "Geography of the countries of the Global North", "Social geography".
2. Be able to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze the features of natural and social processes in the geographical envelope, develop, manage and control projects of a geographical and interdisciplinary nature, evaluate and ensure the quality of work, be able to carry out a comprehensive assessment and monitoring of resources, predict the development of geographical processes and phenomena;
3. Know the basic principles of the functioning of sectors of the world economy, the sectoral structure of the economy of individual countries and regions, monitor global forms of cooperation.
Course content
The academic discipline involves the study of the sectoral and territorial structure of global production systems of the world economy, transnationalization processes, and the features of TNC activities in the economies of countries at different levels of development. The discipline is aimed at forming in students special professional, social, and personal competencies, accumulating knowledge about the possibility of critical thinking, analysis, and synthesis, the ability to search, process, and analyze information from various sources, assess the parameters of the economic efficiency of TNC activities; conduct a situational analysis, and identify possible options for more effective solutions to the corporation's tasks and problems. Separate components of the discipline are the study of the conceptual foundations of the geography of global production systems, geographical and sectoral features of modern transnationalization processes, internal mechanisms of functioning and management features of TNCs, channels of interaction of TNCs with the external environment, and Ukraine's positions in transnationalization processes.

Lecture, seminar, presentation, solving specific problems and situations, analytical work
Assessment methods and criteria
The course includes 2 substantive parts. Classes are held in the form of lectures, seminars, solving specific tasks and situations, and an individual task in the format of a presentation is provided. The discipline ends with a test. During the semester, after completing the relevant topics, thematic written tests with open questions are conducted. To determine the level of achievement of learning outcomes, students present the results of their scientific research and demonstrate the acquired skills. The condition for passing the test and, accordingly, receiving a positive final grade in the discipline is the achievement of at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points, while the grade for learning outcomes cannot be less than 50% of the maximum level.
