Learning outcomes
As a result of mastering the course, the student must clearly operate with the conceptual and terminological apparatus of recreational geography; analyze the composition and structure of territorial and recreational systems at different spatial and temporal levels and apply the knowledge gained in practice to understand their characteristics, processes and history of formation; use the principles and methods of assessing the recreational resources of the territory; based on the search, processing and analysis of information from various sources and in the process of interpersonal interaction, conduct a comprehensive assessment of the recreational resources of the country or region; determine the prerequisites and functions of recreational activity; identify and classify recreational resources, their properties; have information about the current state and prospects of the recreational economy of Ukraine and the world.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastery of the discipline "Social Geography", "Economic Geography", "Geographical and Regional Studies". 2. Possess mathematical and statistical methods and skills of analysis, synthesis, situation modeling, forecasting, comparison, and drawing up maps. 3. Have skills in working with cartographic sources, computer programs MS Word, MS Excel, software for using the Internet.
Course content
The methodological principles of recreational geography as a science are revealed. Attention is focused on the prerequisites, functions, classification and structure of recreational activities; factors and conditions of formation and development of territorial and recreational systems and their subsystems; principles and methods of comprehensive assessment of recreational resources of the territory. Information is provided on natural, historical, cultural and socio-economic recreational resources and conditions of Ukraine. The current state and prospects for the development of the recreational economy are analyzed and the characteristics of territorial and recreational systems and resort and health facilities of Ukraine are provided. The prerequisites for development, the current state of the sectoral and territorial structure and prospects for the recreational economy in macro-regions and leading countries of the world are highlighted.

Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of work in seminars, writing 2 final tests, passing presentations, group assignments. The specific weight of learning outcomes in the final assessment, provided they are mastered at the appropriate level, is as follows: learning outcomes – 1 (knowledge) – up to 40%; learning outcomes – 2 (skills) – up to 40%; learning outcomes – 3 (communication) – up to 10%; learning outcomes – 4 (autonomy and responsibility) – up to 10%. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 36 points: in this case, the student must take part in at least a third of the seminars, pass a presentation and write both tests. The exam is conducted in writing in the form of extended and test tasks.
