Prerequisites and co-requisites
- To know the features of modern international political system, theory and practice of modern international relations and world politics, basic characteristics and features of modern actors in international relations, the effects of information and scientific and technological development on international cooperation, the use of modern communication technologies for effective interaction between state, private and public sectors.
- To be able to analyze conceptual approaches to problems, processes and phenomena in the field of international relations; work with information sources on theoretical and applied aspects of international relations; monitor sources of international information on various aspects of international cooperation; to apply the acquired skills for the analysis of international documents in the field of international relations.
Course content
Module 1
1. Transnational actors of modern international relations. Conceptual approaches to the transformation of actors in international relations in the context of globalization of communication and the shaping of a new international political system
2. Forms and models of corporate participation in modern international relations. The role of TNCs in world politics
3. Features of corporations as an influential transnational actor of international relations. Political interaction of modern transnational actors in the global environment
Module 2
4. The fourth industrial revolution: basic characteristics. The impact of information and scientific and technological development on the international interaction of transnational actors of the international relations. Formation of information international-political space of interaction of corporations and states
5. The structure of the market of information products and services. General characteristics of participants in the global market of information products and services. Essential characteristics of information TNCs as international actors
6. The influence of information corporations on domestic and foreign policy of the world
