To know the nature and specifics of international conflict
To know the technology of identifying challenges and conflicts of national interests of the main actors in international relations
To understand the comprehensive system of global security of mankind
To be able to identify and analyze challenges to the global security of mankind

To be able to plan a set of measures to reduce conflicts of national interest of the main actors in international relations
To present their ideas and positions on national security.
To find, analyze and process the necessary information from various sources, make informed decisions
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the meaning of the concept of "security", its forms and types, components and structure and conditions of global security, the specifics of the functioning of security forms and means of their implementation.
To be able to form and identify global trends of today and monitor them by areas.
To have basic skills of information literacy and critical thinking.
Course content
1. Theoretical and methodological basis for studying the problems of global security. Specifics of international conflict
2. Regional security and its tasks. The role of international organizations in resolving and preventing international conflicts
3. National interests of the state. Conflicts of national interests and ways to eliminate them. International mediation.
4. Traditional and modern models of international security
5. The concept of threats to national security. Global approaches to the problems of national security policy formation. The system of ensuring the national security of the state
6. Terrorism as a problem of international security
7. Global problems of humanity - threats to security

1. Oral answers, comments, blitz poll, discussion, problems – up to 30 points.
