Know: basics of public relations, basics of communication theory, corporate communications, imageology Be able to: determine the object and purpose of communication, choose channels and tools for communicating information and ways to get feedback Have basic skills: working with a computer, preparing presentations, literacy, formulation and logical presentation of one's own opinion
Course content
Module 1. PR strategy and tactics. Topic 1. Current trends in international communications. Modern techniques for collecting information and generating content. Topic 2. Theory of generations, information needs and the specifics of communicative impact on target audiences of different generations. Topic 3. Trust & Transparency in PR communications. Topic 4 Ethical principles of PR activities. National and international regulation in PR. Topic 5. Applied aspects of the PR-specialist. Organization of PR-service. The work of a PR agency. Topic 6. International context of PR activities. Topic 7. National and international PR market.

Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of assessment: the level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of student work in seminars, the quality of preparation of written independent, tests, case studies, presentations and individual presentations. Semester assessment is carried out in the form of testing knowledge and skills: activity and quality of speeches, reports at seminars, participation in discussions, quality of prepared presentations, activity during the discussion of case studies and subject discussions - up to 30 points, the lower level of positive evaluation - 20 points. Work on seminars is carried out, including using the capabilities of the distance learning system Teams; final modular test (conducted in the form of an online test on the Moodle platform) - up to 35 points (lower level of positive assessment - 20 points); performance of individual written work (1 work) - up to 35 points (lower level of positive assessment - 20 points).
