Learning outcomes
- To know and understand the nature, forms and methods of international and intercultural communication. - to formulate modeling tasks, create and research models of objects and processes of international relations, foreign policy, public communications and regional studies - To plan and analyze on issues of international relations, public communications and regional studies using modern scientific methods, collect and analyze the necessary information, argue conclusions, present results -To develop communication strategies for various actors in international relations, including in the context of creating a positive image and reputation - To participate in professional discussions in the field of international relations, foreign policy, public communications and regional studies, respect opponents and their views, convey to professionals and the general public information, ideas, problems, solutions and personal experience on professional issues.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
- To know basic concepts and terms of communication theory; typology and features of modern communication tools in foreign policy, types, kinds, forms of international conflicts and methods of their settlement. - To be able to apply in practice the knowledge gained in specific situations of cooperation in various fields of international cooperation; be able to conduct research on the study of problems of international communication. - To have basic skills and techniques of communicative behavior in various spheres of public life.

Module 1 1. Theoretical and methodological principles of intercultural communication 2. Basic categories of culture. International practice of intercultural communication: case study 3. Perception of cultural differences in the process of intercultural interaction. The practice of intercultural communication and assimilation of another's culture. Formation of intercultural competence Module 2 4. Intercultural interaction in modern international relations. International cultural exchange. Global, regional and national strategies for intercultural cooperation. Foreign cultural policy. Cultural diplomacy 5. Cross-cultural management. Cross-cultural behavior in business. The influence of cultural factors on consumer behavior. Cultural features of advertising activities of companies in the markets of countries and regions of the world 6. Cultural wars. The use of cultural, religious and linguistic factors in modern information and hybrid conflicts 7. Culture in the information society. Cultural features of the transition to the information society
