1. To evaluate the events and processes of international relations and foreign policy, taking into account the features of the modern diplomatic service and the norms of diplomatic protocol and etiquette, to be able to apply this specific knowledge in foreign policy practice and for the organization and conduct of international negotiations.

External form

1. To have knowledge of the history and current state of European integration processes, their place in international relations. 2. To be able to analyze international documents, in particular of a contractual and foreign policy nature; to work with educational and scientific literature. 3. To possess the skills of political analysis and forecasting.

Topic 1. The institutional system of the EU as the basis of European governance. Topic 2. Political system, political process, making political and legal decisions in the EU. Topic 3. Diplomacy of the EU. Topic 4. Horizontal policies of the EU. Topic 5. Development of common sectoral policies of the EU.

Lectures, seminars, reports.

Control and assessment of knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system: up to 100 points for a discipline, which includes up to 50 points for modular work #1 and up to 50 points for modular work #2.
