Learning outcomes
1. To apply modern scientific approaches, methodologies and techniques to study the problems of international relations and foreign policy. 2. To collect, process and analyze information on the state of international relations, world politics and foreign policy. 3. To identify, assess and forecast political, diplomatic, security, social and other risks in the field of international relations, foreign policy and global development. 4. To formulate modeling tasks, create and research models of objects and processes of international relations, foreign policy, public communications and regional studies. 5. To be able to determine the features of the formation and implementation of foreign policy strategies, the content of modern views on the nature of foreign policy strategies and strategic planning.

1. To have basic knowledge of the history and theory of international relations. 2. To have basic skills of political analysis.
Course content
Topic 1. Strategic culture and strategic thinking and their methodological and ideological significance in the formation of foreign policy strategies Topic 2. The role of foreign policy strategies in the implementation of foreign policy. Topic 3. Strategic planning. in the implementation of foreign policy strategies. Topic 4. US foreign policy doctrines. Topic 5. Russia's foreign policy strategies and doctrines. Topic 6. China's foreign policy strategies and doctrines.

Assessment methods and criteria
Control and assessment of knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system: maximum for the discipline - 100 points, which includes 50 points - for modular work №1 and 50 points - for modular work №2.
