Learning outcomes
Know the essence of globalization and regionalization. The concept of sustainable development in international relations; Classification of institutions and programs of international development, functions and mechanisms of their activity, criteria of their efficiency. Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented projects by institutions and programs of international development. Carry out a comparative analysis of programs and projects implemented in different countries; Execute group research on certain aspects of the activities of institutions and programs of international development with the use of pre-agreed methods of obtaining and processing data; present the results of their own research on the activities of individual institutions; Independently find, summarize, systematize information, give it an appropriate assessment of the possibility of its use in the formation of Ukraine's policy on cooperation with international development institutions
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge the history of international relations and the basics of diplomacy; basics of formation and implementation of foreign policy. ability to analyze the dynamics of interstate diplomatic cooperation taking into account a combination of political and economic factors. To have basic skills of political analysis, analysis of international situations and forecasting.
Course content
Module 1. 1. The problem of development in international relations. Classification of institutions and programs of international development. 2. UN and international development. The role of specialized UN agencies and UN programs for international development. UN regional commissions. 3. International Development Banks. 4. National organizations and funds for international development. 5. Non-governmental institutions dealing with international development issues.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answers, comments, blitz poll, discussion, problems – up to 30 points. 2. Tasks for individual work (case study presentation) – up to 12 points. 3.Module control work – up to 18 points.
