Learning outcomes
To apply modern scientific approaches, methodologies and techniques to the research of international relations, foreign policy and diplomacy issues. To know the nature of international communications, various formats of international cooperation, the problems of development of states and international regions in global, regional and local contexts. To identify, assess and anticipate political, diplomatic, security, social and other risks in the field of international relations and global development. To assess and analyze international, foreign policy and diplomatic problems and situations, propose approaches to solving such problems. To interact with specialists from other fields in the development and implementation of applied and research projects in the field of international cooperation and diplomacy. To defend professionally the interests of Ukraine in various spheres of international relations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the theoretical basis for diplomacy and the organization of diplomatic work, the basic for shaping and implementation of foreign policy, taking into account the peculiarities of the national memory of each country. 2. To be able to analyze the dynamics of interstate interaction, taking into account the complex of political and economic factors, as well as the historical experience of each country. 3. To possess basic skills of political analysis, analysis of international situations and forecasting, taking into account the historical experience of each country. 4. To have basic knowledge in the field of historical experience of the countries, surrounding Ukraine, in particular painful events of the national memory.
Course content
Module 1 1. Civilizational affiliation and geopolitical environment of Ukraine. 2. National memory in the international relations of the Eastern Baltic States and Belarus 3. National memory in the international relations of Poland and the Czech Republic. 4. National memory in the international relations of the Czech Republic and the Danube states. Module 2. 5. National memory in the international relations of the Balkan states and Turkey. 6. National memory in the international relations of the Russian Federation. 7. National memory in international relations of Western countries (specific examples). 8. National memory in the international relations of the Third World countries (specific examples).

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answers, comments, participation in discussion, presentation – up to 56 points. 2. Completion of an individual work – up to 20 points. 3.Module control works – up to 24 points.
