Learning outcomes
To participate in professional discussions in the field of international relations, foreign policy and diplomacy, public communications and regional studies, respect opponents and their views, convey to professionals and the general public information, ideas, problems, solutions and personal experience on professional issues.
To develop and implement applied research projects in the studies of international relations, world politics, foreign policy and diplomacy of states.
To collect, process and analyze information on the state of international relations, world politics, foreign policy and diplomacy of states.
To analyze and evaluate the problems of international and national security, international and internationalized conflicts, approaches, methods and mechanisms of security in the international domain, in foreign policy and diplomacy of states.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Have knowledge of the theory and practice of diplomacy, diplomatic service and law of foreign relations, public administration.
2. To be able to analyze documents, laws of a contractual and political nature; to work with literature of the initial and scientific character.
3. To have the skills of political analysis.
Course content
Module 1.
1.The EU institutional system as the basis of European governance
2.Political system, political process, political and legal decision-making in the EU.
3. EU diplomacy.
Module 2.
1. EU horizontal policies
2. Development of common EU sectoral policies

1. Oral answers, comments, blitz poll, discussion, problems – up to 30 points.
