Learning outcomes
Understanding the composition, structure and main components of modern systems of international supply chains, methods and means of forming integrated logistics structures;
Describe the dominant channels of procurement and supply, determine the basic criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of global logistics systems and features of their application;
Understand the most effective concepts, approaches and methods of description, analysis and optimization of modern international logistics systems;
Determine the key characteristics and features of the main types of transportation when used in supply chains;
Understand the main features and benefits of international intermodal transport;
Study the risk environment of modern logistics systems and apply the concept of supply chain risk management based on the family of international standards ISO 28000;
Understand the role and place of Ukraine in the international market of logistics services

Prerequisites and co-requisites
-Basic knowledge of the basics of economic theory, international trade relations, general management, etc .;
- Ability to study, evaluate, analyze and summarize the basic patterns of development of international trade and economic relations, taking into account global trends and their national characteristics;
- Possession of skills of analytical research and generalization of the obtained results
Course content
Thematic plan of the discipline:
-Conceptual provisions of logistics and its genesis;
-Tasks and functions of logistics management in international business;
-International logistics systems and their elements;
-Efficiency of logistics systems and their optimization;
-Transportation processes in international logistics;
= Management of supply and marketing in international logistics flows;
-Information systems and technologies in international logistics;
-Ukraine in the network of international logistics systems

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 30 points), additions (up to 5 points), written assignment (up to 5 points), final modular test (up to 10 points). The form of final control is an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam – up to 40 points.
