Know about the tools of macroeconomic policy and the system of key indicators used in the analysis of macroeconomic processes;
methods and principles of macroeconomic research;
methods of macroeconomic forecasting, methods of calculating the real effective exchange rate; model of macroeconomic equilibrium in an open economy; interpretations of the business cycle and models of cyclical fluctuations; simplified models of equilibrium economic growth; institutional support of innovative development

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the basics of economic theory, macro- and microeconomics; methods of mathematical analysis; conceptual and terminological apparatus of macroeconomic policy, the main ways to regulate the main global macroeconomic processes, indicators of macroeconomic conditions, mechanisms of macroeconomic policy, tools and institutions of state regulation of macroeconomics, the possible consequences of macroeconomic events

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 30 points), additions (up to 5 points), written assignment (up to 5 points), final modular test (up to 10 points). The form of final control is an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam – up to 20 points.
