Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Demonstrate knowledge about different legal systems, understanding the causes of their plurality, as well as mechanisms of interaction; knowledge of the characteristics of the international normative system and the place of international law in it.
PLO 4. Demonstrate the ability to conduct business in international judicial institutions and other international institutions, general and specialized, in order to resolve international disputes, protect interests, the state, individuals and legal entities.
PLO 6. To demonstrate the ability of a comprehensive legal and (in cooperation with relevant specialists) economic analysis of an international commercial and other economic project to identify the main legal and non-legal, but related to the legal framework of economic activity risks.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the basics of International Private Law (Theory).
2. Ability to analyze and establish the content of rights and obligations of international
law subjects in accordance with the provisions of certain international treaties.
3. Have the basic skills of legal analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, working out of a considerable amount of legal material while providing one’s own conclusions
and proposals.
4. Proficiency in English
Course content
The educational discipline ‘International Trade Law’ is aimed at familiarizing students with the historical development of international legal regulation of trade, peculiarities of sources and principles of international trade law, activities of international organizations in the field of international trade, peculiarities of international responsibility, implementation of international legal norms in trade remedies, principles of international trade; the discipline is also aimed at familiarizing students with the international legal aspects of the regulation of an international trade, international legal aspects of the entrepreneurship, regional mechanisms of legal regulation of cooperation of states in the field of trade.

Lectures, seminars, solving practical cases, the execution of self-study tasks; performing group tasks-simulations
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment:
semester assessment is conducted in the form of testing knowledge, skills in the general / final assessment system:
1. considering the performance at the seminar (participation in the discussion) ‒ 10%;
2. in the form of writing individual analytical papers ‒ 25%;
3. in the form of presentation of the individual topic of the report ‒ 15%;
4. in the form of writing the midterm paper consisting of test tasks ‒ 10%. Control and assessment of knowledge is executed according to the module rating system and it is proposed to assess: the maximum for the subject - 100 points, which includes 60 points ‒work during the semester and 40 points ‒ the exam.
module control: for two modules ‒ up to 60 points (30 + 30); final control:
exam (paperwork) ‒ up to 40 points
