Demonstrate knowledge and skills in creating conceptual schemes for solving international legal and national legal problems, analysis of legal concepts for logical consistency and practical adequacy, production of new ideas for solving practical problems in the field of professional legal activity; Understand the international legal situation, use various sources of direct and indirect information, in particular with the help of the latest information and communication technologies, to clarify the circumstances and facts, provide international legal assessment of events in the field of international relations;

Know the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline "Philosophy", the basics of International Public Law (basics of theory), International Public Law (main branches and institutes); Be able to apply the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline "Philosophy" in scientific work, plan scientific work, analyze and establish the content of rights and obligations of the subjects of international law in accordance with the provisions of international treaties;

Thematic plan of the discipline: Topic 1. Science and research in the modern world Topic 2. Methodology, methods and techniques of scientific research Topic 3. Leading methodological concepts of the twentieth century. The concept of academic culture and academic integrity Topic 4. Organization of scientific activity in Ukraine. Methodology of legal science and international law Topic 5. The structure of scientific work, publication of scientific results, organization of scientific research after the completion of the Master’s degree and international scientific cooperation.

Lectures, seminars, individual work

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers at the seminar and carrying out individual tasks (up to 30 points), module control works (up to 30 points). The form of final control is an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam – up to 40 points.
