Learning outcomes
Make informed decisions in the law-making and law-enforcement spheres of legal activity, being aware of their ethical consequences for various subjects of national and international law; Carry out professional representation of individuals, legal entities, the state in the courts of Ukraine, courts of foreign countries, in international arbitration and judicial institutions, as well as perform professional legal duties within the bodies of international courts; To determine the content and legal nature of national legal acts, international treaties and other international documents, to identify conflicts between the norms of international treaties, between the norms of an international treaty and acts of national legislation, as well as to suggest ways to resolve them
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basics of International Public Law (basics of theory), International Public Law (major branches and institutes); Be able to analyze and establish the content of the rights and obligations of subjects of international law in accordance with the provisions of international treaties; Have basic skills of legal analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, elaboration of a large array of legal material with their own conclusions and suggestions

Topic 1. The concept and types of jurisdiction in international law. Exercise of state jurisdiction in various areas of international law.
Topic 2. Jurisdiction of international courts.

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers at the seminar and independent work (up to 70 points), written individual work (up to 10 points), final module control work (up to 20 points). The form of final control is a credit.
