Know the concepts and main categories of international migration law; the main categories of migrants; the specifics of regulatory regulation of external and internal migration; the content and peculiarities of application of the main treaties and regulations of Ukraine on migration and protection of migrants' rights; the content and status of compliance with Ukraine's international legal obligations in the field of migration and protection of the rights of migrants, foreigners, refugees and displaced persons; the problems of irregular (illegal) migration and trafficking of human beings and how to prevent and combat these phenomena; the peculiarities of institutional support for migration processes

1. Knowledge of the basics of «Public International Law (The Basics of the Theory)», «Public International Law (Main Branches and Institutes)», «Law of Treaties», as well as the theoretical foundations of international human rights protection. 2. Ability to analyze and establish the content of the rights and obligations of the subjects of international law, as well as the legal status of separate individuals and their groups in accordance with the provisions of treaties, to apply the rules and principles of international law, as well as the decisions of the relevant international courts to solve specific tasks, in particular to improve the current legislation of Ukraine. 3. Have the basic skills of legal analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, elaboration of a large array of legal material, providing its own conclusions and suggestions.

Specificity of protection of especially vulnerable categories of migrants 13. Institutional support for migration processes

Lectures, seminars

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 22 points), written assignment (up to 20 points), final modular test (up to 20 points). The form of final control is an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam – up to 40 points.
