Learning outcomes
To form student's linguistic competence. To develop the ability to freely and effectively use the Ukrainian language in the oral and written forms, the ability to freely use special terminology to solve professional tasks, etc. To improve the listening skills of simple short texts of everyday, socio-cultural and professional subjects.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of the discipline ‘Ukrainian language’ for the first and second semester.
Course content
Thematic plan of the discipline: Topic 1. Ways to express some conceptual categories (presence, absence, location, change of location in space, opportunity, need, etc.). Topic 2. The peculiarities of the declension and functioning of the basic grammatical forms of the noun, adjective, pronoun, verb. Topic 3. The basic communicative formulas of the Ukrainian language within the topics studied.

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: oral answers at the practical classes (up to 5 points), written homework (up to 5 points), module control works (up to 50 points). The form of final control is a credit (I semester) and exam (II semester).
