Acquisition by students of the necessary methodological knowledge in the field of learning the basic provisions of the masterpieces of the famous scientists on state development and politics at different stages, to explore formation and development of law and powers as well as genesis and evolution of basic political institutions and concepts, which allows the application of acquired knowledge in relations with foreign elements. Ability to realize one’s rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to realize the values of civil (free democratic) society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, rights and freedoms of man and of the citizen in Ukraine.

This course is an essential discipline for students of the 1st year of studies. Mandatory requirements are proficiency in English and basic knowledge of the history of the countries of the world.

Lecture, seminar, performing tasks of independent work

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 56 points), additions (up to 4 points), independent work (up to 10 points), final modular test (up to 34 points). The form of final control is credit.
