Ability of the student for independent evaluation of the law-making procedures, constitutional reforms regarding their compliance with world trends and international standards; for prediction of the effectiveness of the adoption and action of individual acts; for assessing of the situation in a particular country regarding observance of constitutional norms; for formulation of proposals to improve national constitutional legislation in order to bring it in line with European standards

This Course is basic for students of the first year. Mandatory requirement is English proficiency, basic knowledge of such courses as “Theory of State and Law”, “History of State and Law”, “History of Political and Legal Doctrines”.

The Status of a Person in Constitutional Law. 4. Legal status of Civil Society Institutions. 5. Constitutional Institutes of Direct Democracy. 6. The State as Category of Constitutional Law. 7. Constitutional Forms of the Modern State. 8. The Legislature. 9. The Head of State Institute in the Constitutional Law. 10. The Executive. 11. The Judicial. 12. Local Government: constitutional models.

Lecture, seminar, solving practical cases, performing tasks of independent work

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 42 points), additions (up to 9 points), case studies (up to 2 points), independent work (up to 15 points), final modular test (up to 8 points). The form of final control is a credit which is carried out in the form of written recitation.

English
